First State loves to stay involved with the communities we serve and be active in the events going on throughout the summer! We have lots of employees that volunteer to ensure these events are a success and several who serve on boards and chambers for their local area. First State encourages this participation, as it helps the communities grow and develop!
First State branches are also encouraged to participate in fun holidays through out the year. Most recently, we celebrated National Bring Your Dog To Work Day. Here are a few of our celebrations thus far in 2019!
Bring Your Dog To Work Day. Employees had the opportunity to bring their dogs to the work! Customers were also encouraged to bring in their furry friends for a yummy treat!
Cortland Fest Parade. Employees and their children waved and threw out candy in the Cortland Fest Parade! We think we had the best looking group handing out goodies.
The Gathering Place. First State employees volunteer to serve at the Gathering Place. What a great way to give back, and bond with your employees.
Homestead Days. Employees their and children were part of the Beatrice Homestead Days parade. The First State trailer will appear in lots of parades this summer!
