First State Bank Nebraska Announces Exciting Updates to Plattsmouth Locations
First State Bank Nebraska is excited to announce plans to invest in the Plattsmouth community with significant updates to its facilities, enhancing the customer experience for years to come.
The bank is moving forward with the construction of an enhanced branch at its Highway 75 location. To allow for demolition and construction, the Highway 75 branch will temporarily close beginning this spring. During the closure, customers are invited to visit the downtown branch, which will continue to provide the exceptional service they expect.
In addition, the bank has finalized the sale of a portion of its downtown building at 446 Main Street to Cass County. While part of the building will transition to the county in 2026, First State will retain a branch in the building to continue serving the downtown community.
"We’re thrilled to invest in these updates, which reflect our long-term commitment to the Plattsmouth community," said Jerry Lentfer, CEO of First State Bank Nebraska. "These changes will enable us to deliver a more modern, convenient, and accessible banking experience."
The exact closure date for the Highway 75 branch will be announced soon, and First State will provide regular updates to customers throughout the process. For questions or further information, customers can contact the bank at 402.296.2194.
First State Bank Nebraska appreciates the community’s patience and support as it works to bring these exciting updates to life.
