Our Switch Kit streamlines the process of transferring funds and payments, and our local bankers are available to guide you through every step of the process. We’re here to make setting up your First State accounts, collecting account numbers, and handling all the little details as seamless as possible.

To utilize our online Switch Kit, start by completing these steps and then follow the prompts below:

• Open a checking or savings account with First State.
• Make sure you have the account number for your new account AND your old account available before starting Step 1 of the Switch Kit process.
• You will also want to have information for any organization that makes automated deposits to, or debits from, your old account.

Examples of automatic deposits: direct deposit of paychecks, pensions or alimony.

Examples of automatic debits you may have set up: cell phone bills, utility bills, memberships.

You are ready to print and send your documents. You will need to print out the documents created and send them to your old bank as well as your new.
